Maggie Grace is one of those actresses you'll recognize right away because she had the chance to start in movies almost everyone has watched. She was born in Worthington, Ohio, on September 21, 1983, to Valinn and Fred Denig. Her parents ran a family jewelry business, so you could say that they were well off.
She attended Christian Schools ever since she was a kid, which kind of sucks, but hey, what can you do. Maybe she liked it. I don't know. Anyway, that went on until her 9th grade when she started going to Thomas Worthington High School, where she began acting in school plays and community theater. I guess Los Angeles is the place where magic happens because many actresses and actors move there to become famous. Well, I can say that Megan managed to accomplish what she wanted, but she didn't land main roles right away.
She got an agent the same week she moved to LA and started going to acting classes. She landed her first role in Rachel's Room, which was a video series about affairs inside a teen's bedroom. After that, she got a role on a TV series called Septuplets, which was canceled before the first episode even aired. That kind of sucks, doesn't it?
The role that made a big difference was in the 2002 movie Murder in Greenwich. This was based on the true story of 15-year-old Martha Moxley's murder. I didn't watch the movie, so I don't know all the details, but I know she was nominated for a Young Artist Award because she did one heck of a job. It sucks that she didn't win it, but hey, at least she knew she did something right, which probably helped her later in her career.
After that, she got a couple of smaller roles on TV shows such as CSI: Miami, The Lyon's Den, Like Family, Miracles, Cold Case, and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.
In 2004, she got a part on Lost and was given the role of Shannon Rutherford after a successful audition. Again, she was nominated for a Teen Choice Award because she did a pretty good job, but again, she lost to someone else. It must have been hard to lose two times in a row, but that's just the way it goes. After all, she lost to Eva Longoria, and we know that she's a pretty damn good actress!
Taken trilogy
Finally, it's time to talk about the thing that I think is the most important in her life. We've all watched the movie Taken, right? Well, if you haven't, you have no idea what you are missing out on, but again, I doubt you haven't heard about it.
Maggie played the role of Kim, who was kidnapped. Her dad, Liam Nesson, then went on to find her and eliminate everyone who was involved in her kidnapping. A lot of stuff happened in the first movie, but since there were 3 movies, there's a lot more stuff worth talking about.
Even if we got to see just the first Taken movie, it would have been nice. It had a nice ending, but that's not it. At the beginning of the second Taken movie, you get to see a scene where the family of all those guys involved in Kim's kidnapping decide to take revenge, meaning they plan on kidnapping Maggie Grace and her mother again. However, that didn't turn out as they planned.
The third Taken movie wasn't as interesting as the first two, but hey, you still watched it. At this point, Maggie wasn't a kid. She was supposed to play a 20-something-year-old kid in that last part, but we can all tell that she was way older than that. It sucks when they give a role of a teen to someone who's in their thirties, but I guess in this case, they didn't have other choices. It would have been weird if some other chick played the role of Kim after the first two movies.
Worked alongside with some of the most famous actors and actresses
I already told you that she had the chance to work with Liam Nesson on 3 separate occasions, but that's not all. In 2010, Maggie started in the drama called Flying Lessons and had the chance to work with Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz in the movie Knight and Day. Also, she worked with Dwayne Johnson in Faster.
She was pretty busy with all these movies, so she didn't have time to return to the season premiere of Lost. However, she did manage to return for the series finale.
In 2010, she revealed that she was chosen to play Irina in The Twilight Saga. Just like most of the world has heard about the Taken movies, they have heard about this one. I don't know if you watched it or not, but you know what I'm talking about.
Married in 2017
Unlike a lot of celebrities, Maggie didn't get married to another actor. She got married to Brent Bushnell in 2017, who is an entrepreneur engineer and chairman of Two Bit Circus, which is an experimental entertainment company.
Not only did she get married, but she also got a child. She gave birth to her son in 2020, which explains why she didn't make movies and series in that period. Well, that and the coronavirus.

I'm not saying that she did a bad job, but it just looks out of place.
